We seek an experienced, self-starting Software Test Engineer to serve as a member of our Government Programs Team.\nPosition Description:\nThe Software Test Engineer will have opportunities to interface with senior level customers, warfighters, and leadership while performing the following functions:\nPlan and manage assignments, progress, and evaluate results. \nConduct integration and test activities of application software on multiple platforms that include System Drivers, Android devices, Windows, and Linux machines.\nDevelop detailed Software Test Plans and prepare Test Reports. \nParticipate in software design and development meetings. \nAnalyze and identify system level integration issues and resolve issues and dependencies in a team environment. \nConduct detailed interaction and follow through actions with development teams for issues and requirements\nConduct testing on software builds and report functionality and interface issues. \nUnderstand Apps and functionality of Apps as a complete system.\nPerform initial troubleshooting and classification/characterization of defect findings, then enabling software development teams to investigate/fix further. \nEnsure software builds represent military tactics, techniques, and procedures.\nEvaluate test data, assess risks, and develop test result summaries for leadership briefings, Suitability Statements and Milestone Decisions.\nEnsure all Government test planning documents are uploaded to the appropriate databases. \nInterface with customers, vendors, and various stakeholders to identify and resolve problems that cause failures. \nProvides feedback on test trends, returns and vendor performance.\nA Test Engineer who fits our team is:\nDynamic: contributes energy and enthusiasm to our Qualifications\nBecause this role requires a DOD security clearance, all applicants must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship.\n Due to the sensitive nature of the work being performed, a candidate must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.\nHigh School diploma and 20 years' experience, or\nBachelor's degree in a directly related field and 10 years of experience, or\nMaster's degree in directly related field and five years of experience\nLab and hands-on Debugging Exposure.\nAbility to support occasional travel.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with one or more of the following development tools/environments is desired: Android SDK, .NET SDK, OpenGL, FFMPEG, and SQLite. \nDomain experience in geospatial systems (i.e., moving map display), geo-positioning devices, advanced GPS technology, tactical networking, and/or mission planning solutions desired. \nExperience with mobile applications, Android OS, and Windows preferred.\nKnowledge and experience with Mission Command and Control Software to include Nett Warrior, ATAK, WinTAK, Mounted Computing Environment, Command Post Computing Environment, Blue
