Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations, with a focus on delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards

·Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and presented attractively

·Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures

·Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies

·Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workspaces

·Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations

·Adapt to special dietary requests and menu changes

·Monitor food stock and minimize waste

·Perform opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications:

·Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role

·Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

·Understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·Good communication and teamwork skills

·High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Work in hot, humid, and noisy environments
