The ideal candidate combines a solid accounting foundation with external audit experience, strong analytical capabilities, advanced English communication skills, and a proactive approach toward continuous improvement and process optimization.\nAs an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting General Ledger activities and ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of financial information in accordance with Company policies, accounting standards, legal regulations, and tax requirements.\nYour main responsibilities will include:\nGeneral Ledger & Financial Reporting\nCoordinate the journal entries booking and supporting documentation.\nPerform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.\nSupport month-end and year-end closing activities.\nExecute and monitor foreign currency valuation processes.\nAnalyze financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness.\nBanking & Cash Management\nValidate bank postings and bank-related transactions.\nPerform weekly and monthly bank account reconciliations.\nSupport cashpool accounting processes, balance reconciliations, and interest accruals.\nMonitor and analyze cashpool balances and foreign exchange impacts.\nAudit & Compliance\nSupport internal and external audit processes.\nPrepare and provide information requested by auditors.\nAnalyze accounting records and supporting documentation.\nCoordinate audit requests and follow up with different business areas.\nEnsure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.\nBilling Support\nSupport miscellaneous billing activities and reporting.\nReconcile issued invoices against tax reporting systems.\nAssist with electronic accounting and statutory reporting requirements.\nCollaborate with Tax on accounting-related matters.\nProjects & Continuous Improvement\nParticipate in process improvement initiatives and automation projects.\nSupport the implementation of new accounting tools, controls, and procedures.\nDocument accounting processes and maintain up-to-date work instructions.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify and standardize accounting activities.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Treasury, Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, Reporting, and Operations teams.\nSupport accounting activities for multiple locations within the organization.\nCommunicate effectively with local and global stakeholders.\nCandidates coming from audit firms and seeking to transition into a multinational corporate environment are especially encouraged to apply.\n Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.\n1-3 years of experience in Accounting, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, or External Audit.\nPrevious experience in a External Audit Firm is highly desirable.\nExperience supporting month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial analysis activities.\nExposure to multinational or manufacturing environments is considered a plus.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.\nKnowledge of Mexican GAAP and IFRS is desirable.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards, and financial data analysis.\nExperience using data automation and reporting tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP FI or similar financial applications.\nFamiliarity with data extraction, reconciliation, and validation techniques.\nUnderstanding of internal controls, audit procedures, and compliance requirements.\nBasic understanding of database concepts, data structures, or analytical tools is desirable.\nAI-enabled productivity tools (Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies) applied to finance and accounting processes.\nAdvanced English proficiency (spoken and written) is required.\n At AUMOVIO we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
