The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and has about 87.000 employees in more than 100 locations worldwide.\n Full responsibility of development of a material and suppliers strategy:\nConduct market analysis\nSupport the strategy definition with cross functional partners\nSupport the documentation and implementation of the supplier strategy\nInitiate the New Supplier Introduction Process\nDefine and develop supplier portfolio for China in alignment with the Gobal Category\nDefine the annual supplier list for own material groups which are reflected in the Category strategic paper based on Continental requirements\nFull responsibility of Achieve best market conditions：\nActively influence the sourcing process during development phase through :\nSupplier selection\nNegotiation of prices and commercial conditions\nPreparing Sourcing decision sheet\nFull responsibility of Negotiation:\nPerform annual negotiations to constantly improve the cost situation of Continental Automotive in case of escalation\nNegotiate changes with suppliers\nApply negotiation concepts (like Advanced negotiation concept) to actively support & execute bundling within the respective Category\nFull responsibility of Contract Management and Data maintenance:\nEnsure fulfillment of all necessary requirements by negotiating and concluding legally binding contracts with the respective suppliers\nEnsure in time implementation of correct data in the respective IT systems\nResponsibility for monthly controlling and correction of local data and target achievement\nSupport to Continous Cost reduction:\nSupport re-design in cost reduction programs\nDrive improvement programs with suppliers\nRequired experience:\n- >1years of experience of relevant experience;\n-Capability to negotiate and operate with different cultures;\n-Experience in working with international teams on Purchasing issues;\n-Understanding for different foreign cultures (NAFTA/ Asia, several European cultures);\nRequired knowledge:\nExpert level:\n-Procurement Process and Product Life Cycle (PLC) knowledge;\nAdvanced level:\n-Communication skills, including Presentation and Negotiation techniques to operate in different cultures;\n-Problem solving and decision making tools and techniques;\n-Project management skills, tools and techniques;\n-Risk Management;\n-Technical understanding of specific components;\n-Commercial knowledge, includes contract law etc.;\nBasic level:\n-Management skills, tools and techniques which ensures a strategic, profit and resulted oriented handling (Balanced Scorecard, Benchmarking, etc.);\n-Human relations skills (team skills, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking);\n-Purchasing Management (including standards of Quality system requirements, policies and norms (IATF 19649/ VDA 6.1);\n Ready to take your career to the next level?
