The SQM (Supplier Quality Department) department’s main goal is to ensure that suppliers fulfill AUMOVIO standards in terms of quality. The SQM department is responsible to ensure that new projects that are being introduced into AUMOVIO will be awarded to the best suppliers, matching the requirements of each particular project. It is the department where extensive improvement projects are carried out in order to bring suppliers to state-of-the-art standards in terms of quality and communication.

All suppliers that produce PCBs for AUMOVIO are audited and released by a SQM Engineer, before any actual production can begin. It is a vital department, for any business, responsible for quality assurance and also tasked with the mission to communicate customer and international requirements down the supply chain and ensure they are fulfilled.

The SQM is often times required to get involved in topics more or less outside of his area of expertise, i.e. logistics, development, purchasing and thus has to have a much broader view on the business, than just quality assurance and acquire more varied knowledge.

Your responsibilities:

• Help the SQM Engineers with quality documentation verification , administration and tracking;
• Create, monitor and close APQP forms (Advanced Product Quality Planning);
• Review PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and initiate the approval procedure for the lead SQM engineer;
• Support in Product/Process Change Notifications release coordination;
• Work with AUMOVIO quality internal tools;
• Work in international and multidisciplinary teams;
• Interact with various AUMOVIO departments;
• Interact with global PCB suppliers.

You can be a perfect match to our team if you have:

• Ongoing Master’s degree in a relevant field (mechanics, electronics) and willing to work on a full time program (8h/day);
• Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes (drilling, routing, lamination etc.); chemical processes is a plus;
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning & tolerances;
• Microsoft Office demonstrated skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) are required;
• Fluent in written and spoken English language skills is mandatory;
• Self-reliant working style, well organized and punctual;
• Able to prioritize work ;
• Demonstrates initiatives and adapts quickly.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
