The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and has about 87.000 employees in more than 100 locations worldwide.\n HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\nThe Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for maintaining the condition of the manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to repairing and/or the replacement of failed components and preforming preventive maintenance measures when applicable. This role is responsible for developing short and /or long-term repairs that are geared towards improving quality as well as efficiency.\nBasic maintenance task, such as greasing, oiling, grinding, drilling, disassembling and reassembling simple and complex machine parts.\nAbility to follow maintenance procedures and maintain proper documentations, drawings, and files. Knowledgeable in hydraulic and pneumatic controls, materials, and components.\nOperate, set, and regulate/adjust machinery.\nUse hand-held tools/machinery/instruments, both manual and powered precision and non-precision.\nIs responsible for developing short and /or long-term repairs that are geared towards improving quality as well as efficiency.\nSupport efforts to meet line product Defects Per Million Opportunities, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, and Scrap goals and equipment Mean Time Between Failures goals\nParticipate in the advance process and quality planning (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities for new equipment\nElectrical & Electronic Troubleshooting of machine issues.\nDiagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment per manufacturer guidelines, and on the job training.\nPerform corrective & preventive maintenance.\nInterpret schematic, pneumatic & writing diagrams.\nWork with engineers and managers for coordination of line moves, installations, and other improvement activities.\nWorking cooperatively as a team with engineering, operations, logistics, quality and environmental health and safety departments.\nEstablish and maintain productive and effective working relationships with team members and other maintenance team members.\nAbility to mentor, and train operations personnel in proper machine maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.\nKnowledge, use and understanding of general purpose measuring instruments.\nUnderstands and complies with all procedures pertaining to a given work environment; assists in designing improvements to the work environment.\nParticipate, comply and support the environmental, health and safety system requirements.\nUtilize prior knowledge, manufacturer guidelines, and on-the-job training to perform daily activities in a safe and effective way.\nReduce downtime by working efficiently and performing countermeasures aimed at root cause analysis.\nSafely execute workplace rules and standards.\nMonitor the safety, quality, and productivity of the production machinery, and equipment.\nExercise knowledge of industrial electricity, including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective device, and photo sensors.\nComplete work order processes documentation for complete work history and parts inventory tracking.\nSubmit and assist with the creation and resolution of Continuous Improvements.\nTHE ENVIRONMENT\nSafety is our highest priority and safety procedures, such as Lock Out Tag Out / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as Electrostatic Discharge Composite Toe Shoes, Smock, and other PPE as required.\nThis role is within a climate-controlled facility where you will be exposed to robot and pedestrian, and noise.\nThe role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.\nShift (B Shift):\n4 days on 4 days off, rotating schedule 8:00am-6:30pm\n WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n1+ years of prior maintenance or production experience at AUMOVIO\nExcellent mechanical ability is essential regarding understanding of mechanics and troubleshooting\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints & electrical schematics in equipment manuals\nAbility to read and interpret electronic and pneumatic schematics\n1+ years experience working with machines (pulleys, levers, etc.), pneumatics, hydraulics, gears, reducers, bearings, lubrication theory, drive components (sheaves, sprockets, chain belts, take-ups), and equipment alignment.\n1+ years experience with PM procedures, including performing PMs, logging completion, etc.\nMathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.\nComputer skills - Competence in personal computer must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications )word, Excel, e-mail) and familiar with other database related software.\nAbility to read, write and speak English\nLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
