The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and has about 87.000 employees in more than 100 locations worldwide.\n Responsibilities\nThe group manager-Digital IC Design is responsible for leading a digital design team. He/she is also responsible for coordinating the Bangalore activities regarding digital IC design.\nThe group manager is responsible for the technical, commercial, and quality requirements of the project being met.\nThe group manager is responsible for monitoring, coaching, and optimizing the digital design development process and methodology.\nThe group manager supports the acquisition of new projects and participates in defining strategy goals\nDetailed task description\nDisciplinary team guidance\nCoordination of Bangalore digital team regarding resources, processes, methods and tools\nSet up the project plan, incl. all relevant documents (project time schedule, development cost, team, risks, etc.) together with the IC developers\nDefine, assign and track work-packages for digital design team\nSupport the team with concept work, system design & effort estimations\nEvaluate technical and development risks (analysis, mitigation plan, escalation, etc.) together with IC developers\nRegularly track actual design progress vs. project time schedule and report discrepancies to customers\nExecute all milestone reviews together with the development team and report the results to the customer and line management\nAcquisition of new digital projects\nRegularly review the verification document (validation plan) together with the IC developers\nApply consequent configuration and change management\nApply quality assurance management (use of lessons-learned, peer reviews, risk assessment, etc.)\nIdentify & implement improvement of digital IC development processes, methodology and tools\nStrategic planning, cross-functional alignment, budget management, proactive problem solving, early cost assessment, and growing up the competencies in the Bangalore site.\nEmpowering the innovation culture within the team.\nLeading the efficiency topic within the digital design and verification team.\nQualification and experience\nMaster of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar qualification\n12+ years’ experience in leadership and digital design of automotive product development\nProven experience in Digital design development processes and methods for ASIC & FPGA implementation\nExperience in Design, verification methodologies & development tools\nLeadership experience as team leader, group or program manager\nSkills\nLeadership skillset\nInitiative (self-confidence, takes ownership, and acts proactively).\nDecision making\nResult orientation\nStrong analytical skills\nSelf-Organization\nCommunication skills (make a positive personal impact)\nCustomer focus (anticipates and understands the customers' needs)\nMotivation and Inspiration (operates with integrity and demonstrates dynamism)\nTeam skills (operates as a team player and contributes to team goals)\n Master of Science in Electrical Engineering/Microelectronics/VLSI design or similar qualification.\nBachelor of science with advanced course in VLSI Design\n Integrated circuits and Mixed signal experience (e.g., high-voltage analog CMOS and BCD)\n10+ years experience in IC digital design and verification\nAutomotive product development\nIC design/synthesis tools, good understanding of the physical design flow a plus (e.g., Siemens, Cadence, Synopsys)\nOffice tools (e.g. MS office, Visio)\nWorked on IPs (e.g., SPI, I2C, HDMI, RSDS, OpenLdi, PSI5, Ethernet, CAN…)\nVDHL, Verilog\nUVM test methodology\nSystem Verilog, SystemC (optional)\nWorking in international development network\nReady to take your career to the next level?
