We create environments that allow us to do what we do best-provide healthcare and wellness services to those who need them most.\nPosition Overview\nThe Patient Care Supervisor serves in a dual role as both a Medical Assistant and supervisor of Medical Assistants, overseeing day-to-day clinical operations and ensuring high standards of patient care.\nReporting to the Health Center Administrator, this role is responsible for supporting clinical excellence, patient safety, and operational efficiency. The Patient Care Supervisor partners closely with the Patient Experience Supervisor and care team to improve workflows, enhance patient outcomes, and support staff development and retention.\nKey Responsibilities\nClinical & Patient Care\nDeliver exceptional customer service using the AIDET model\n\nEnsure proper screening and triage of walk-in patients\n\nCommunicate clinical concerns to providers and leadership\n\nAssist with patient registration and check-out as needed\n\nMaintain high standards of infection control, medication administration, and procedural support\n\nSupervision & Team Leadership\nSupervise and support Medical Assistants in daily operations\n\nDevelop and manage daily staff assignments and workflows\n\nComplete onboarding for new hires within 90 days\n\nConduct annual competency evaluations\n\nMentor staff to support growth, performance, and retention\n\nOperations & Coordination\nManage real-time patient scheduling and clinic flow\n\nPartner with Patient Experience Supervisor on claims, supplies, and equipment needs\n\nEnsure all claims are closed and submitted daily\n\nCoordinate equipment maintenance and vendor services\n\nSupport monthly Joint Commission documentation and compliance\n\nAdministrative & Compliance\nCommunicate policy and procedural updates to staff\n\nAttend required trainings and complete Core Curriculum\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompetitive hourly pay: $23-$25/hour\n\nHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n\nLife & Disability Insurance\n\nPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Holidays)\n\nRetirement Plan\n\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n\nEmployee Discounts (cell phones, restaurants, and more)\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nCertified or Registered Medical Assistant\n\nPrior supervisory experience\n\nPediatrics experience\n\nAdditional Requirements\nValid driver’s license and current auto insurance\n\nAbility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays\n\nFlexibility to travel between clinic locations as needed\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAunt Martha’s Health & Wellness is an equal opportunity employer.
