From API integrations to WhatsApp, custom apps, and IoT devices, our tech bridges the gap between people in need and those who can help.\nOur mission is simple but powerful: to make emergency medical and security support more accessible, affordable, and reliable.\nAs we continue to expand, specifically with a new customer integration in January 2027, we are expanding our medical desk capacity and looking for exceptional Medical Dispatchersto join our high-impact team.\nYour Role at AURA\nAs a Medical Dispatcher, you’ll be on the frontlines of emergency response-coordinating critical calls, dispatching the right teams, and staying cool under pressure. You’ll use cutting-edge technology to ensure people get the help they need, fast.\nQualifications & Experience\nMatric / Grade 12\nHPCSA accredited (Minimum BAA (Basic Ambulance Assistant) qualification)\nAt least 2 years of operational EMS road experience\nPrevious experience in a dispatch or control room environment is a strong advantage\nBonus: PSIRA registration (assistance with certification available during probation)\nWhat You’ll Do\nAnswer and manage emergency calls via AURA’s tech platform.\nAnswer and manage calls for inter-facility transfers via AURA’s tech platform\nAssess situations, prioritise responses, and dispatch medical or security teams accordingly.\nProvide clear, calm pre-arrival instructions to callers in distress.\nAccurately triage medical calls and ensure proper data entry.\nMonitor and coordinate emergency vehicles in real-time.\nMaintain detailed, up-to-date records of all calls and responses.\nOperate communication systems and control room equipment efficiently.\nLiaise with clients and internal teams to deliver top-tier emergency solutions.\nEnsure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.\nIdentify and flag irregularities in medical operations.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nA natural multitasker who thrives in high-pressure situations.\nStrong communicator-both written and verbal-with excellent telephone etiquette.\nEmotionally intelligent and empathetic, especially during high-stress interactions.\nSharp problem-solver with strong attention to detail.\nTech-savvy: comfortable using emergency
