We are thinkers, solvers, and collaborators who work with our clients to deliver the infrastructure and assets that strengthen communities and create a sustainable future.\nWhat you'll do\nAs an Electrical Substation Engineer in our Transmission and Distribution team, you'll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.\nJoin a team delivering some of the most significant substation, transmission and energy infrastructure projects across New Zealand and Australia, with opportunities spanning grid infrastructure, major industrial developments and data centres.\nContribute to major substation refurbishment and new-build projects across New Zealand\nPrepare design calculations, reports, specifications and design documentation with senior guidance\nCoordinate with drafters and complete initial quality checks\nGain exposure to Australian energy infrastructure and data centre projects\nBuild your technical, design review and client-facing capability\nWhat you'll bring\nRelevant electrical engineering qualifications (bachelor’s degree in electrical, Power systems, etc.)\nAround three to four years' practical high voltage substation design experience in either Primary, secondary or Protection design.\nExperience with cable sizing, busbar sizing, secondary & controls, Protection, and substation layouts\nFamiliarity with relevant IEC, IEEE and AS/NZS standards\nThe ability to deliver quality work with direction, without requiring day-to-day supervision\nHow we support your growth\nWe believe your career should be a rewarding adventure.
