We are thinkers, solvers, and collaborators who work with our clients to deliver the infrastructure and assets that strengthen communities and create a sustainable future.\nWhat you'll do\nAs a Mechanical Engineer in our Energy & Industrial team, you'll work with some of New Zealand's leading industrial organisations to deliver projects that improve, upgrade and expand critical assets.\nThis role combines office-based engineering, client engagement and regular site involvement. You'll work closely with clients and project teams to assess options, solve engineering challenges and help deliver successful outcomes.\nYou'll:\nDeliver mechanical engineering work across brownfield and sustaining capital projects.\nDevelop and assess engineering options, supporting practical recommendations for clients and project teams.\nContribute to projects from early-stage studies through to delivery and site support.\nBuild strong working relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.\nWork alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.\nApply sound engineering judgement to solve operational and technical challenges.\nTravel to client sites across New Zealand to support projects and gain a strong understanding of client operations.\nIs this role right for you?\nThis role offers a balance of technical engineering, client interaction and practical problem solving.\nWhile you'll still be involved in engineering calculations, technical documentation and design deliverables, you'll also spend time understanding how industrial facilities operate, working directly with clients, and helping turn project requirements into practical engineering outcomes.\nWe're looking for an engineer who enjoys getting out from behind the desk, learning how facilities work in the real world, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver solutions that make a difference.\nYou'll be equally comfortable contributing to technical delivery, engaging with stakeholders on site, and applying sound engineering judgement to help solve complex industrial challenges.\nWhat you'll bring\nYou're a degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in industrial, manufacturing, dairy, food & beverage, energy, or processing environments.\nYou'll also bring:\nStrong mechanical engineering fundamentals and sound engineering judgement.\nExperience delivering engineering projects, work packages or technical studies.\nThe ability to assess technical options and communicate recommendations clearly.\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills.\nExperience working within brownfield or operating industrial environments.\nA collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.\nConsulting and/or site-based experience within process industries will be highly regarded.\nHow we support your growth\nWe believe your career should be a rewarding adventure.
