Here, you'll bring your expertise to challenges that matter, alongside people who think boldly and are determined to make a difference.\nWhat you'll do\nAs a Senior Mechanical / Piping Engineer in our Industrial Mechanical Practice based in Melbourne or Adelaide, you'll take on detailed mechanical and piping engineering design across oil & gas, minerals & metals, industrial process, power, defence, water and data centre projects, helping shape solutions for our clients and communities. You'll work across disciplines, test ideas and find better ways to solve complex engineering problems.\nYour role will include, but not be limited to, opportunities to:\nDeliver detailed mechanical and piping engineering design for piping and pumped systems, pressure equipment and pipelines \nCarry out piping and mechanical engineering analysis that supports sound design decisions \nSelect and specify mechanical equipment and contribute to equipment engineering design \nSupport engineering design management and guide engineers and designers on project deliverables \nWork with multidisciplinary teams and clients to solve technical challenges from concept to delivery \nYour experience and expertise\nA relevant mechanical engineering qualification is essential \nEligibility for Chartered status with Engineers Australia is highly regarded \n5 to 7 years' post-graduate industrial engineering experience in oil & gas, minerals & metals, industrial process, power, defence and/or water industries \nDetailed mechanical/piping engineering experience, ideally with some engineering management or supervisory experience \nExperience in one or more of: piping and pumped systems, piping and pressure equipment engineering design/stress analysis, pipelines \nKnowledge of piping stress analysis software such as Bentley AutoPIPE and/ or CAESAR II is required \nStrong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills \nHow we support your growth\nEngineering possibilities for your career means having room to shape what comes next.
