Our differences are what fuel our creativity.\nWhat will you do?\nThe Pavement Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, assessment, and maintenance planning of road pavement systems to ensure safe, durable, and cost-effective infrastructure. The role supports the delivery of pavement solutions by applying technical expertise in materials and construction methods, contributing and assisting on project delivery in New South Whales.\nIn this role, you will:\n· Conduct pavement condition assessments, failure investigations, and life-cycle analyses.\n· Develop pavement designs in accordance with relevant standards and client specifications.\n· Perform materials selection, thickness design, and structural modelling for both flexible and rigid pavements.\n· Interpret geotechnical and traffic data to inform pavement performance evaluations.\n· Prepare technical reports and drawings\nBring energy to the team by asking questions, sharing ideas and taking ownership of agreed tasks. You will also need the following:\n· 5 years relevant experience\n· Familiarity with Australian road design standards (Austroads, State Road Authorities)\n· Experience in pavement design to various Australian requirements would be an advantage\n· Interest in road pavement design\n· Software skills - AutoCAD\n· Technical reporting\n· Geotechnical/material background\n· Writing and communication\n· Time management skills are also important\nOurAurecon Attributes define our way of being - they are a collection of qualities that makes us who we are.
