With significant project wins and a strong pipeline of work ahead, we’re investing in the growth of our local dams capability. This is an opportunity to come on board as a senior member of the team at an important stage of that growth, helping shape the capability today and supporting the team as it grows into the future. In this role you will:\nWork across dam projects through the full asset lifecycle, including site investigations, feasibility studies, design and analysis, construction support and dam operations. \nLead and contribute to dam safety management, surveillance, safety reviews and risk assessments. \nManage technical aspects of small to large-scale projects, working closely with clients from proposal development through to project delivery. \nBuild and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to deliver value beyond the immediate project brief. \nWork collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across Aurecon to bring together the right expertise to solve complex dams challenges. \nApply engineering standards independently, providing technical guidance and supporting high-quality project outcomes. \nPlay a key role in establishing and growing our dams capability, helping shape the team as our project pipeline and presence across South Australia and Victoria continues to grow. \nWhat you’ll bring\n8+ years’ experience in dams engineering, with demonstrated experience in dam safety and risk assessment. \nChartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status and immediate eligibility for RPEV. \nA qualification in civil or geotechnical engineering, or a related engineering discipline, supported by substantial relevant dams experience. \nA strong civil dams engineering background with an understanding of geotechnical, structural and hydraulic aspects of dams. \nKnowledge and practical understanding of ANCOLD guidelines and relevant state-based dam safety guidelines and regulatory requirements. \nExperience delivering dam projects across different stages of the asset lifecycle. \nStrong communication and technical report-writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders. \nThe ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary project teams. \nA genuine interest in developing others, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the continued growth of our dams capability. \nHow we support your growth\nWe believe your career should be a rewarding adventure.
