Our differences are what fuel our creativity.\nWhat will you do?\nTheIntegrations Engineer role is responsible for analysing integration demands and designing, developing, implementing and supporting secure, reliable and reusable integration solutions that meet business requirements and align with enterprise integration principles, architectural standards and development best practices.\nThe role provides end-to-end ownership across the integration lifecycle. This includes demand assessment, requirements elicitation, process and data analysis, user story definition, solution design, hands-on SnapLogic development, testing, deployment, documentation, production support and continuous improvement.\nWorking closely with Integration squad, Enterprise Application teams, Solution Architects, IT Leaders, Delivery Owners and Shared Services teams, the role translates complex business needs into practical integration solutions that enable organisational priorities and maximise the value of the enterprise integration platform.\nWe know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life'.\nIntegration Analysis and Design\nAssess and document integration and API requests, including business outcomes, scope, data requirements, dependencies, risks and non-functional requirements.\nEvaluate technical feasibility and recommend practical, reusable and supportable integration approaches.\nDevelop or contribute to solution designs aligned with architecture, security and enterprise integration standards.\nIdentify opportunities to reuse existing APIs, pipelines, platform capabilities and integration patterns.\nTranslate functional and non-functional requirements into high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure they can be effectively developed and tested.\nLead the technical requirement documentation and management, including capturing, eliciting, analysing and traceability of how requirements are fulfilled.\nIntegration Delivery and Support\nDesign, develop, test, and implement integration solutions including SnapLogic pipelines, APIs, Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Service Bus), scripts, data mapping and transformation, validations and error-handling processes.\nApply agreed standards for development, version control, logging, monitoring, security and maintainability.\nSupport integration applications, APIs and platform services in accordance with agreed operating practices, KPIs and SLAs.\nDiagnose and resolve complex integration issues across applications, middleware, APIs and data.\nIdentify technical debt, recurring issues and opportunities to improve automation, reliability and supportability.\nTechnology Leadership\nContribute to the continuous improvement of integration standards, patterns, development frameworks, delivery practices and platform governance.\nContribute to the skills uplift across the product squad through knowledge sharing and coaching.\nUnderstand key concepts of developing and designing integrations to ensure that the solutions meet industry best practices and standards.\nKnowledgeable in API lifecycle management and contribute to the establishment and awareness of its purpose and use cases across the enterprise.\nStakeholder Management\nFacilitate engagement with customers and/or cross-functional teams to raise awareness of key materials/processes/artifacts/standards. Communicate how to leverage the integration platform and assets to deliver required business outcome.\nEngaging with the business and IT stakeholders to address complex business problems through application solutions.\nEnsuring clear and effective communication of technical solutions to both technical and nontechnical audience.\nWhat can you bring to the team?\nFirstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:\nEssential skills and experience:\nExtensive experience across integration requirements analysis, solution design, development and production support.\nExtensive hands-on experience implementing integrations using SnapLogic or similar tools is required.\nStrong experience developing APIs, pipelines, data mapping and transformations, scripts, validations and error-handling solutions.\nStrong understanding of integration architecture, API lifecycle management, data integration and reusable design patterns.\nStrong systems thinking with an analytical, creative, and systematic approach to problem-solving.\nStrong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions.\nExcellent ability to create high-quality functional/technical documentation and technical requirements gathering skills.\nStrong work ethics with high sense of integrity and accountability over the work of the team.\nExcellent communication skills to technical and non-technical audience.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills and has worked with a diverse set of stakeholders.\nMaintains an awareness of developing technologies and their application and takes responsibility for personal development.\nQualifications:\n5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise integration, including requirements analysis, hands-on development, and support & maintenance (such as SnapLogic, Dell Boomi, Webmethods, Workato, etc.).\nHands-on technical experience building SnapLogic pipelines and APIs, integrated with Azure cloud services (Service Bus, Cosmos DB), to connect enterprise applications (e.g., Workday, Dynamics 365).\nStrong experience participating in Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.\nStrong experience in application development and support within a Global Shared Services setup.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related discipline.\nCertification in SnapLogic is highly desirable. \nOur Aurecon Attributes describe the types of people we bring together for clients.
