Our differences are what fuel our creativity.\nWhat will you do?\nIn this position, you will join our Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of projects. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.\nTaking responsibility for delivery of projects from initial design, through to construction and final review.\nBe the point of contact for the client team on day-to-day project matters.\nLead a large project design team, oversee and coordinate the work of a team multi-disciplinary engineers, designers and drafters. Engineering disciplines to be managed and coordinated include mechanical and electrical, civil, structural, security, architectural and ICT.\nWorking in collaboration with other design disciplines, locally and regionally to ensure the integrity of the overall design.\nLead the multi-disciplinary team in the production of design documentations including detailed design drawings, specifications, design report, calculations, BIM models, and other technical documents.\nChair internal and external design meetings.\nManaging projects or project components, budgets, schedules, quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/modifications.\nAssisting in workload management and resource forecasting and involved in preparation of proposal documentation.\nReviewing and ensuring compliance, including drawings, reports, specifications, survey, access, and preparation of appraisals.\nBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with clients, recognizing, and developing potential business opportunities.\nApplying an understanding of construction/engineering project management principles to plan and deliver infrastructure projects of varying complexity.\nManaging work programmes to ensure that they are delivered to client expectations, timeframes and specifications.\nEngaging with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.\nSupporting multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including planning, design verification, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management.\nWe know today’s complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.\nWhat can you bring to the team?\nFirstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:\nA Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 7 years’ relevant experience in Buildings Mechanical Design, installation and testing and commissioning, and leading delivery of multi-disciplinary projects in modern commercial and industrial buildings. Data Centre Experience will be preferred.\nStrong project management skills with ability to lead a large project team on technical delivery.\nExcellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.\nSufficient experience to demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.\nOrganized approach and ability to accept increased responsibility and produce accurate and detailed work.\nHigh level of computer literacy and exposure to BIM / Revit will be highly desired, with advanced problem-solving skills through investigation and analysis.\nLiteracy in the use of digital tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Naviswork, BIM360 and drive BIM processes.\nStrong ability in navigating 3D BIM model to review multi-disciplinary design, identify issues, provide solutions and delegate the design team to resolve them.\nOurAurecon Attributes define our way of being - they are a collection of qualities that makes us who we are.
