Developer Support is the first place Aurora’s engineers go when a build won’t pass, a tool won’t authenticate, or they need access to get their work done, and we fix the underlying causes so the same problems don’t come back. As our engineering organization grows, we’re hiring an early-career engineer who wants hands-on experience across a modern engineering stack (CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, identity and access, and AI developer tools) and the chance to ship real code from day one.\nIn this role you will\nHelp engineers get unblocked across builds and CI, source control, cloud access, authentication, virtual development environments, and AI coding tools\n\nTriage incoming support requests, resolve what you can, and hand off clearly to the owning team when an issue needs a deeper fix\n\nGrant and manage access through infrastructure-as-code and peer-reviewed changes rather than manual configuration\n\nSpot patterns across requests, raise emerging incidents early, and help communicate them to affected engineers\n\nBuild scripts, command-line tools, documentation, and AI-powered automation that cut repeat requests and manual work\n\nRequired qualifications\n0-2 years of experience in technical support, IT or systems administration, DevOps, SRE, or a related role; internships and co-ops count\n\nWorking proficiency with Linux\n\nExperience with Git and GitHub workflows, including branches, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts\n\nExperience writing Python or Bash scripts to automate tasks\n\nExperience troubleshooting technical issues by reading logs, reproducing problems, and isolating root causes\n\nDesirable qualifications\nExperience supporting engineers as internal customers, or with developer tools, build systems, or a large monorepo\n\nExperience with a CI/CD system such as GitHub Actions, Buildkite, or Jenkins, or a build system such as Bazel\n\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code (especially Terraform), cloud IAM (AWS), SSO and identity providers, or Go\n\nExperience writing documentation or runbooks, building self-service tools, or using AI coding assistants\n\nFor roles based in Pittsburgh, PA: The salary range for this position is $88,000 - $132,000 per year. \nAurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
