For the latest news from Aurora, visit aurora.tech or follow us on LinkedIn.\nWhat we are looking for\nAs the Staff Program Manager, Operational Quality, you monitor day-to-day operational performance against SOPs and operational commitments - uptime, recovery time, on-time delivery - across Aurora's operational ecosystem. You support escalation resolution, maintain scorecard data integrity, and flag emerging performance risk to leaders across Autonomous Operations.\nThis role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment on when to escalate, and the ability to operate effectively across a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.\nIn this role, you will\nMonitor day-to-day vendor operational performance against SOPs and commitments (uptime, recovery time, on-time delivery) and flag deviations promptly.\n\nSupport resolution of active escalations, coordinating with category leads, Command Center, and field operations as needed.\n\nMaintain the integrity and accuracy of scorecard and performance data used in metric reviews and leadership reporting.\n\nIdentify emerging performance risk trends and proactively flag them to Autonomous Operations leadership.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement of monitoring processes and escalation models, applying Lean/DMAIC principles where appropriate.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n5+ years of relevant experience in operations, performance monitoring, quality management, or a related field.\n\nStrong attention to detail and data integrity, with experience maintaining scorecards or performance dashboards.\n\nDemonstrated ability to identify and escalate operational risks in a timely, well-organized manner.\n\nEffective communication skills across cross-functional and multi-level stakeholder groups.\n\nComfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with evolving priorities.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in transportation, logistics, or autonomous vehicle operations.\n\nCertifications such as PMP, CSP, Six Sigma, CFSE/P, or other relevant safety or project management certifications.\n\nKnowledge of safety regulations and standards\n\nExperience developing, implementing and improving Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs)\n\nExperience leading cross-functional teams.\n\nUnderstanding of regulatory compliance processes related to safety standards.\n\nExperience with Jira, Jama, Confluence, Google Suite.\n\nFor roles based in Coppell, TX: The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $166,500 per year. \nAurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
