In this role, you'll be responsible for end to end social media management and video content creation to help customers navigate everything from major outages and severe weather events to the energy transition shaping Australia's future.\nWhy this role?\nYou'll be at the centre of AusNet's customer communications function, taking ownership of our social media presence and creating content that reaches thousands of customers every day. From developing social media strategies and managing campaigns through to filming, editing and publishing video content, you'll play a critical role in how customers experience and engage with the AusNet brand.\nYou'll work across websites, social media, video, email, SMS and customer campaigns, helping to improve energy literacy, strengthen community engagement and deliver communications that make a genuine difference when customers need us most.\nWhat you'll be doing in this role:\nYou'll partner with teams across the business to:\nManage AusNet's social media channels end-to-end, including content planning, content creation, publishing, monitoring and community engagement.\nDevelop and execute social media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, driving awareness, engagement and customer education.\nCreate engaging video content from concept through to delivery, including filming, editing, production and publishing across digital channels.\nDevelop compelling digital content across social media, web, email, SMS and customer communication channels.\nTranslate technical and complex information into clear, engaging and accessible content for customers.\nMonitor social media performance and use insights to continuously improve content effectiveness and audience engagement.\nSupport communications during significant network incidents, severe weather events and outages.\nHelp build trust, clarity and accessibility across every customer interaction.\nYou don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:\nDemonstrated experience managing social media platforms end-to-end, including content creation, publishing and community management.\nStrong video content creation skills, including filming, editing and producing content for digital and social channels.\nOutstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills.\nA passion for creating engaging digital content and customer-focused storytelling.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.\nExcellent organisation and project management abilities.\nA proactive mindset and strong problem-solving capability.\nThe AusNet experience is all about…\nGrowing your impact: We’llsupport you to build your career through real opportunities and strong connections.\n\nSolving some of the most complex energy challenges of our time: We love unpacking complex challenges in clever ways and looking at things differently.\n\nBeing part of a team that cares deeply about each other: We share in the good times.
