The incumbent is up to date with current migration laws and procedures and helps our clients navigate the complex world of visa applications. An RMA essentially provides information and advice to potential migrants, prepares and lodges visa applications and acts as an intermediary to legally represent clients during visa processing and before review bodies.\nRoles/Responsibilities:\nUnderstand a client’s visa history, current requirement and offer the right solutions and support accordingly\nBe responsible for reviewing the information and documents provided by the client and ensure it is accurate and in line\nwith the legal requirements\nBe well-versed with the organisation’s visa fee structure and prepare correct and fair quotes when requested by the client\nEvaluate immigration cases objectively and honestly as well as convey and explain the information in a comprehensible/logical\nmanner, ensuring that the client has a clear picture of their case and further plan of action\nBe accountable for all visa issues and operations in the business and remain up to date with any changes to legislation\nCreate and maintain accurate client information such as enquiry notes, file notes, fees and follow-ups in the organization's CRM system\nBuild a strong referral pipeline and increase client retention by ensuring good after sale service engagement and encouraging\nservice feedback via Google Reviews and social media reviews such as Facebook\nPublish client success stories with the help of video testimonials, photographs and social media posts\nMaintain integrity, ethics and honesty and ensure compliance with the stipulated rules to preserve the integrity of the profession\nand the governing/regulatory body\nKey Behavioural Competencies:\nStrong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with all and especially external stakeholders\nMust have a strong work ethic and an ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills with a quick TAT in terms of responding to clients as well as internal communication\nBe proactive in regard to updating one’s knowledge base through research and self-learning\nStrong technical knowledge with respect to the current Australian immigration laws and policy\nStrong listening skills, attention to detail and ability to logically reason and critically analyse information and data\nAbility to be innovative and creative in finding the best possible solution when dealing with complex cases to find\nAbility to work in a collaborative team but also autonomously to meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities\nand client expectations\nAnalytical and investigative skills\nSkills & Experience\nQualifications:\nGraduate in Migration law (essential)\nExperience:\nA minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Registered Migration Agent\nSkills:\nIntermediate to advanced Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe skills\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail\nExcellent grasp and ability to navigate LEGEND\nExcellent counselling skills including the ability to build rapport and make the client feel heard\n(The Position Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the role.
