The role is responsible for maintaining injury management records, coordinating appointments and stakeholder communications, supporting return to work processes, managing documentation and systems, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the Injury Management function.\nYou will work closely with Injury Management and Return to Work Specialists, Team Leaders, insurers, rehabilitation providers and employees to facilitate positive return to work outcomes and ensure accurate, timely and compliant injury management administration. The Return to Work Coordinator reports to the Manager - Employee Relations and Safety Operations.\nThis role is available through to 30 June 2027 and is based in Brisbane or Melbourne.\n Establish and maintain new injury management and return to work files and ensure all documentation is recorded accurately and stored in accordance with organisational requirements. \nManage ongoing file maintenance, including case documentation, medical certificates, correspondence, rehabilitation reports and case notes. \nCoordinate injury management administration activities and provide support throughout the lifecycle of workplace and non-workplace injury and illness cases. \nConduct welfare check activities and follow-up communications with employees, leaders and other stakeholders as directed.\nAssist with injury management case transitions and file preparation associated with system upgrades and business improvement initiatives. \nMaintain accurate data records, spreadsheets and tracking systems to support injury management reporting and operational requirements. \nProvide administrative support to the Injury Management team during periods of increased workload and planned leave coverage.\nParticipate in process improvement initiatives and other administrative projects supporting workplace safety and injury management.\n Demonstrated experience within an administrative role, with skills in developing, implementing and maintaining appropriate administrative systems.\nExperience within Return to Work, Injury Management, Workers' Compensation, Human Resources or Workplace Health and Safety highly desirable. \nAbility to deal sensitively with confidential information. \nIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Suite. \nExcellent communication skills. \nSelf-motivated with strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and work within established timeframes.\nDemonstrated high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.\nExposure to or interest in payroll processes associated with injury management and return to work
