You’ll work on electronic modules such as flight controllers, sensors, and vision systems, supporting PCB development from concept through production.\nAs part of a cross-functional team, you will contribute to advanced systems such as interceptor and reconnaissance drones with integrated visual navigation, as well as quadcopters for defense applications.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nDesign, prototype, and validate avionics PCBs, sensors, and electronic modules for drone platforms, contributing to designs from initial concepts through detailed design and manufacturing\nSupport PCB and product verification activities, including test planning, execution, and documentation; contribute to electrical and mechanical validation such as EMI/EMC compliance testing, thermal cycling, and mechanical shock testing\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including design concepts, schematics and CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and repair documentation\nCollaborate with test engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to support the transition of hardware designs from development to production\nWork with hardware and software engineers to define electronics requirements, system interfaces, and design solutions\nSupport troubleshooting and design improvements based on test results, production feedback, and field performance\nContribute to the development and improvement of engineering processes and best practices within the hardware team\nQualifications and Skills\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering\n2+ years of experience in PCB design and electronic product development, including prototyping, layout, and testing\nGood understanding of mixed-signal PCB design, signal integrity, and power integrity principles\nHands-on experience with PCB testing and troubleshooting, including basic EMC considerations\nExperience with Altium Designer is highly desirable\nExperience with high-power applications, ESCs, and lithium batteries is an advantage\nHands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving\nAbility to work effectively as part of a cross-functional hardware/software team\nGood problem-solving and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks\nCH/EU citizenship required\nBenefits\nFlexible working hours\nStock Options\nGenerous holiday allowance\nCompany pension plan \nCar parking \nEnhanced maternity & paternity leave\nMental health and wellbeing support\nAbout Auterion\nWe are building the leading software platform for AI-powered autonomous systems for enterprise and government customers.
