The position requires the person to:\nRead, analyze and interpret performance testing requests.\nWork with software developers, business analysts, quality analysts, project managers, architects, and HR leadership to understand front-end and back-end system functionality.\nWork with software developers, business analysts, quality analysts, project managers, architects, and HR leadership to review performance testing requests, test plans, and test results.\nWrite test plans and update existing test plans.\nDesign, develop and maintain the automation processes and scripts for various performance tests using tools such as JMeter, NeoLoad, etc.\nUtilize and interpret test results from performance testing tools.\nUtilize monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, SentryOne, BMC Apptune, Splunk.\nExecution of performance tests, often outside of normal working hours.\nDocument test results using Confluence.\nWork with other members of the IT Performance Testing team to organize team goals and priorities.\nAssist with other duties as requested.\nDesired Skills & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, another logic-based field, or equivalent experience.\nFoundational understanding of programming and exposure to common coding languages (ex. Java, Python, C, C#, C++, HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc.)\nAbove average communication skills (written and verbal)\nCapable of producing adequate quality and quantity of work\nAbility to utilize a PC and working within a performance testing suite\nCompetency to learn new software tools\nOrganize and interpret data\nAbility to handle multiple assignments while meeting established schedules and deadlines in an organized manner\nAbility to manage a project from start to finish and be a self-starter on a new project\nExperience with any of the following is a plus:performance testing tools\nserver monitoring tools\nSQL and generating database queries\n\nBenefits\nAuto-Owners offers a wide range of career opportunities, and we are seeking talent that will help us continue our long tradition of success.
