Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications for new and existing systems. The position requires the person to:\nDefine, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software programs and applications.\nActively participate in code/design reviews as well as brainstorming sessions.\nDevelop program and system documentation.\nAnalyze and fix software errors in a timely and accurate fashion.\nConsult with users, architects, project leaders, and management to resolve problems and suggest alternatives.\nDesired Skills and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience is required.\nKnowledge of Java and RESTful services is strongly preferred.\nExperience with a modern IDE is strongly preferred.\nExperience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS, and React/Angular is a plus.\nExperience with source control management software is a plus.\nEnthusiasm for driving improvement by finding and implementing solutions to new challenges.\nMust be able to learn and effectively use tools and software development techniques as practiced, acquired, or adopted within the IT Division.\nBenefits\nAuto-Owners offers a wide range of career opportunities, and we are seeking talent that will help us continue our long tradition of success.
