Own testing strategy throughout the SDLC, partnering with program and project managers to align testing efforts with requirements, success criteria, schedules, resources, and delivery goals.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTest Design | Test Management | Project Management | Test Execution | People Leadership\nManage planning and execution of product and system testing, including test approach, scope impacts, methodologies, tools, and automation strategies. Ensure testing activities validate functional and non-functional requirements and comply with established QA standards, policies, procedures, and best practices. Oversee end-to-end testing delivery, monitor progress, manage defects, report status to leadership, and drive resolution of cross-functional testing issues. Maintain test records, review documentation, recommend improvements, participate in phase-end reviews, and proactively address risks or release issues to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nManages relationship with contracted QA service provider.\nQualifications:\nRequired\nEducation (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):\nA Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field or in the alternative a combination of education, certifications and work experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.\nExperience:\n5+ years relevant experience in areas of Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing\nParticipating in and contributing to the development and documentation of business requirements\nReviewing business requirements and technical design documents\nIdentifying test conditions based on business requirements and technical design\nDeveloping test cases based on test conditions, business requirements and technical design\nProactively identifying, researching and resolving problems\nDeveloping re-usable documentation\nTesting, working with or evaluating third party vendor packages\nWorking in strong, positive team environments\nAnalyzing test results for validity and correctness\nKnowledge and Skills:\nAdvanced knowledge of the supported business functions, workflow, systems and transactions.\nExcellent understanding of system design processes, methodologies and testing tools.\nProject Management skills to effectively initiate, plan, execute, control and close out the work of the team to achieve the goals of the project and fulfill success criteria.\nExcellent communication and personal skills. Able to communicate with senior leadership\nOperating systems (e.g. MVS, AIX/UNIX/LINUX, Windows, iOS, Android, Mac)\nKnowledgeable in both Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)\nIndustry technology standards relative to infrastructure/architectural concepts, database design concepts, server languages\nWaterfall and agile methodologies\nVarious test approaches and when each should be employed (Baseline, Parallel, Black Box, White Box, Gray Box, etc.)\nPreferred\nWhat You'll Own\nGovern Day-to-day QA delivery for assigned tracks - test plans, estimates, execution schedules, and on-time completion against sprint and release milestones by working with consultants.\nLeading and mentoring a team of QA consultants: work allocation, capacity planning, onboarding, and holding the team accountable to agreed SLAs and quality standards.\nApplying the CoE's QA standards - test plans, entry/exit criteria and quality gates - and raising exceptions to the Sr. Manager where a track needs a deviation.\nExpanding automation coverage on your tracks, reducing manual regression effort, and keeping automated suites running reliably within existing CI/CD pipelines.\nGoverning AI-assisted testing involving test case generation, self-healing automation, defect triage support and test data creation - and measure the KPI with the AI output for accuracy before it is relied upon.\nRelease readiness for your tracks: managing dependencies and risks, and providing a clear QA recommendation into go/no-go calls with engineering, product and business stakeholders.\nReview the quality metrics for your tracks - defect trends, coverage, escape rate, automation pass rate, release health - into the CoE's reporting cadence.\nSupporting QA partner transition activity on your tracks: knowledge transfer sessions, shadow and reverse-shadow execution, evidence capture and exit-criteria sign-off, while protecting inflight delivery.\nAgile Certification\nPMI Certifications\nOther Related Technology Certification(s)\nDomain exposure to Insurance, Claims, Salesforce platforms.\nHands-on experience with building Agentic AI solutions and leading such delivery models.\nAPI or performance testing familiarity.\nISTQB, CSM or equivalent certification.\nFLEX WORK IN WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThis position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership.
