This is a fixed term position, with the possibility of extension\nThe role will be offered on a contract basis through an external employment partner.\nAs part of this role, you will join the team responsible for building foundational backend services and contributing to the development of the next generation of the Autodesk Construction Cloud Platform, used across mobile applications, web applications, and cloud services.\nAt Autodesk, we work in a hybrid environment based in our Tel Aviv office, with 2 office days per week.\nResponsibilities\nWork as a member of a self-organized Agile team that builds, owns, and operates its services\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services using Node.js\n\nContribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from architecture and development through deployment and production\n\nBuild clean, performant, maintainable, and highly scalable backend solutions\n\nWork with cloud-based architectures and services in AWS\n\nContribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes, including hands-on work with Jenkins\n\nLeverage and effectively work with modern AI tools and AI-assisted development technologies\n\nWork closely with Product Management and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into high-quality technical solutions\n\nParticipate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n8+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development\n\nExtensive hands-on experience developing production-grade backend applications and services using Node.js\n\nProven experience designing and developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable distributed systems\n\nHands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application development\n\nStrong experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices\n\nHands-on experience working with Jenkins\n\nGood understanding of and practical experience using AI tools and AI-assisted software development workflows\n\nExperience with Git or equivalent distributed version control systems\n\nExcellent written and verbal technical communication skills in English\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience designing backend architecture for large-scale cloud platforms\n\nExperience with microservices and distributed systems\n\nExperience with observability, monitoring, and production troubleshooting\n\nFamiliarity with infrastructure automation and modern DevOps practices\n\nExperience introducing or leveraging AI-based tools to improve engineering productivity, development workflows, or software quality\n\nLearn More\nAbout Autodesk\nWelcome to Autodesk!
