In this role, you will combine hands-on engineering, technical content creation, and developer support to accelerate partner and customer success.\nYou will collaborate with developers, partners, customers, Product Management, and Engineering teams to improve the developer experience, solve technical challenges, and help developers successfully build and integrate solutions using Autodesk technologies.\nResponsibilities\nCreate high-quality sample applications, Software Development Kits (SDKs), and reference code that demonstrate engineering best practices\nDevelop developer-focused content, including tutorials, how-to guides, blog posts, technical documentation, and demonstrations for community programs and events\nProvide technical support and issue triage for partners and customers integrating APS APIs\nReproduce technical issues, troubleshoot integration challenges, and coordinate with Engineering teams to drive issues through resolution\nPartner with Product Management and Engineering teams to influence API design and continuously improve the developer experience\nDevelop and maintain technical runbooks, onboarding resources, and developer integration workflows\nDeliver reference implementations and example code for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients, enabling agents and tools to securely access Autodesk data\nLeverage Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to accelerate prototyping, sample development, and documentation while validating outputs for quality, accuracy, security, and maintainability\nShare technical knowledge and best practices with developer communities, partners, customers, and internal teams\nGather developer feedback and translate insights into recommendations that improve Autodesk's APIs, documentation, tools, and developer experience\nMinimum Qualifications\n5+ years of experience in software engineering, developer support, developer relations, or other developer-facing roles across web, cloud, or native application development\nHands-on experience with Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs, SDKs, and modern web or cloud technology stacks\nDemonstrated ability to develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested sample code\nStrong understanding of authentication and authorization patterns, including OAuth 2.0 flows, service accounts, and secure integration practices\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex developer integration issues\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly\nExperience presenting technical content to developer or engineering audiences\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in developer advocacy, developer relations, developer support, or partner-facing engineering\nExperience with Autodesk Platform Services, formerly Forge, or familiarity with Autodesk product APIs such as Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Building Information Modeling (BIM) Automation, or Autodesk Fusion\nExperience with Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or .NET\nExperience with Docker and cloud deployment patterns\nFamiliarity with MCP server and client patterns or agentic AI integration concepts\nExperience developing technical tutorials, sample applications, documentation, or other developer enablement resources\nExperience engaging with developer communities through technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, or events\nThe Ideal Candidate\nThe ideal candidate is a developer-focused engineer who combines strong software engineering expertise, technical communication skills, and a passion for helping developers successfully build solutions using Autodesk technologies\nDemonstrates strong hands-on engineering skills and enjoys building practical examples that make complex technologies easier for developers to understand and adopt\nCommunicates complex technical concepts clearly through code, documentation, presentations, demonstrations, and direct developer interactions\nApproaches developer challenges with curiosity, empathy, and a strong problem-solving mindset\nBuilds trusted relationships with developers, partners, customers, Product Management, and Engineering teams\nTakes ownership of technical issues and collaborates across teams to drive them through resolution\nUses developer feedback and technical insights to identify opportunities to improve APIs, documentation, tooling, and the overall developer experience\nBalances speed and experimentation with strong standards for code quality, security, accuracy, and maintainability\nEmbraces Generative AI and emerging technologies while applying appropriate validation and engineering judgment\nShares knowledge proactively and contributes to a collaborative developer community\nDemonstrates curiosity and a commitment to staying current with evolving APIs, cloud technologies, developer tools, and agentic AI capabilities\n#LI-SJ1\nLearn More\nAbout Autodesk\nWelcome to Autodesk!
