Reporting to a Software Engineering Manager, you will contribute to delivering solutions that provide a cohesive, scalable cloud platform experience. The ideal candidate will have experience across all aspects of cloud application development.\nAutodesk offers a hybrid work experience.\nResponsibilities\nTake ownership of the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of application features and services\n\nWrite clean, secure, readable, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code in accordance with team standards and software engineering best practices\n\nContribute actively to technical design discussions, evaluate implementation options and trade- offs, and propose effective solutions within your area of responsibility\n\nApply software design principles and patterns, including event-driven architecture, while considering how systems and services interact and the broader impact of changes across the codebase\n\nCollaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and other cross-functional partners to align on project goals, timelines, requirements, specifications, and incremental product improvements\n\nParticipate in code reviews by providing and incorporating constructive feedback to continuously improve code quality, consistency, and development practices\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development and production environments, performing root-cause analysis and contributing to effective, lasting solutions\n\nLeverage the AWS ecosystem to build scalable, reliable, resilient, and operationally maintainable solutions\n\nMentor and support less experienced engineers, fostering their professional development and promoting high-quality engineering practices and deliverables\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field\n\n5+ years of relevant industry experience building and delivering robust, performant, and maintainable commercial applications\n\nDemonstrated experience applying software design principles, patterns, data structures, and algorithms\n\nAbility to approach software complexity in a systematic and structured manner\n\nProficiency in at least one programming language, such as Go, C++ or JavaScript, together with experience working across a modern full-stack technology stack\n\nExperience applying event-driven architecture principles\n\nProficiency with version control systems such as Git and standard development workflows, including CI/CD tools such as Jenkins\n\nExperience with AI-assisted software development tools and practices\n\nExperience with Agile methodologies and working within a Scrum framework\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, technology stacks, and programming languages\n\nA strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related field\n\nExperience building Progressive Web Applications\n\nExperience with HTML and CSS, as well as modern frameworks and libraries such as React, Grommet, and i18next\n\nExperience working with relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling, querying, and data access patterns\n\nExperience with B2B SaaS products and the operation of multi-tenant platforms\n\nExperience collaborating with designers using tools such as Figma, as well as component development and documentation tools such as Storybook\n\nExperience with web analytics and product analytics tools such as Pendo or Mixpanel\n\nExperience with digital twin technologies or within the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) domain\n\nLearn More\nAbout Autodesk\nWelcome to Autodesk!
