You will design APIs and implement features to develop the platform. You will work with product managers, developers and operations to design, implement and maintain the platform and its roadmap.\nResponsibilities\nBuild high quality code following unit testing and test driven development\n\nDesign, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needs\n\nDrive and participate in code and document reviews, mentoring team in best practices\n\nCollaborate with peer organizations, dev ops, support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance\n\nInterpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates\n\nEvaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved\n\nWork with team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently\n\nApply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems\n\nFocus on scalability, security and availability of all applications and processes\n\nContribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable and maintainable software\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n6+ years of professional experience with building API's using Node.js or Python\n\nExcellent knowledge of REST API standards and web services\n\nAI Dev skills - Proficient AI Assisted design and implementations\n\nExperience taking requirements to design and building reusable modules\n\nExperience building, scaling and performance tuning REST APIs\n\nExperience with debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving issues\n\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience building and maintaining large scale production system\n\nExperience building distributed asynchronous systems\n\nExperience in AWS and services like SQS, SNS, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, RDS, Elastic Cache etc.\n\nDemonstrates SDLC best practices in coding standards, code reviews, tests and delivery\n\nFamiliar with Agile/Scrum, continuous integration/delivery, and modern development practices\n\nLearn More\nAbout Autodesk\nWelcome to Autodesk! For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,000 and $157,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
