Ready to shape the world and your future Join us!\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Search Infrastructure to join Autodesk Platform Services. In this role, you will help build a modern, scalable search platform that powers search experiences across Autodesk's industry clouds – Fusion, Forma, and Flow.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nContribute to the design, development, and operation of highly scalable, distributed, data-intensive microservices.\nImplement technical solutions iteratively, from design and coding to testing and deployment, while following engineering best practices for resiliency, scalability, and security.\nPerform code reviews, adopt industry best practices to write clean, maintainable code, and improve development standards within the team.\nPartner with Principal Engineers, Software Architects, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers to design and implement technical solutions that drive business outcomes.\nCollaborate with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) for large-scale microservices through monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.\nLead incident detection, recovery, and postmortem reviews for production incidents as part of an on-call rotation.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\n6+ years of experience building and operating medium- to large-scale systems.\nStrong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and data management.\nExceptional proficiency in the Java programming language.\nHands-on experience with vector databases and embedding-based retrieval systems.\nExposure to information retrieval technologies, with hands-on experience using Lucene, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch.\nExperience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).\nHands-on experience with database systems such as MySQL and DynamoDB.\nExperience building scalable systems and services in the cloud, including developing RESTful web services and integrating them with heterogeneous clients.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience monitoring and improving the reliability of complex systems at scale.\nAwareness of security and compliance challenges in cloud products and/or platforms.\n\nThe Ideal Candidate\n\nStrong Communicator: You enjoy synthesizing, simplifying, and articulating complex problems to others.\nCollaborative Team Player: You are results-oriented and passionate about delivering comprehensive solutions.\nContinuous Learner: You embrace continuous learning and are always ready to take on new challenges.\n\nLearn More / Plus d'information\n\nAbout Autodesk / À Propos D'Autodesk\n\nWelcome to Autodesk!
