Autodesk Desktop Connector enables seamless access to cloud-hosted data from the Windows desktop, helping customers across industries efficiently access, manage, and synchronize their files.\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with a strong focus on test automation to join our Desktop Connector team in Pune. In this role, you will drive quality assurance initiatives, develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks and automated test suites, and ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of our Windows desktop application and its integration with cloud services.\n\nYou will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, improve automation coverage, identify quality risks, and deliver high-quality releases. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in software testing, C#/.NET, Windows desktop automation, and AI-assisted quality engineering practices.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks and automated test suites for Windows desktop applications using C#, .NET, FlaUI, or equivalent technologies.\nDrive end-to-end quality assurance activities as a QA Lead, including test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, and release readiness.\nIdentify and automate critical functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios to improve test coverage and accelerate release cycles.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve test reliability, execution efficiency, and maintainability.\nPerform functional and exploratory testing, investigate defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.\nCollaborate with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria, identify quality risks, and ensure high-quality feature delivery.\nLead defect triage sessions, bug bashes, and automation code reviews while promoting quality engineering best practices across the team.\nLeverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or equivalent tools to accelerate test development, improve coverage, and optimize testing workflows.\nEffectively communicate testing progress, automation coverage, quality metrics, and release risks to stakeholders.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with strong hands-on expertise in test automation for Windows desktop applications.\nDemonstrated experience as a Senior QA Engineer or QA Lead, driving test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, and quality reporting.\nStrong programming skills in C# and .NET, with experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.\nHands-on experience with Windows desktop UI automation using FlaUI, WinAppDriver, or equivalent frameworks.\nExperience developing and executing automated functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.\nProficiency with test management and defect-tracking tools such as Xray, Jira, or equivalent tools.\nPractical experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar tools for test automation, test planning, debugging, and productivity improvements.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience testing cloud-connected desktop applications, particularly those involving file synchronization, offline workflows, conflict resolution, and recovery mechanisms.\nExperience validating REST APIs, cloud services, and distributed systems, including failure handling and data consistency.\nExperience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.\nExperience with performance, reliability, and stability testing of Windows desktop applications.\nFamiliarity with testing AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or other AEC/CAD tools.\n\nLearn More / Plus d'information\n\nAbout Autodesk / À Propos D'Autodesk\n\nWelcome to Autodesk!
