Our ecosystem is built around cloud-native services and modern applications that power Autodesk's platform capabilities.\nIn this role, you will contribute to the development and evolution of Autodesk's cloud data platform while learning to build reliable, scalable software used by millions of customers worldwide. You will work alongside experienced engineers, architects, and product managers and gain hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies and engineering practices.\nYou will be based in Pune and report to the Manager of Software Development. We offer a flexible hybrid work model.\nResponsibilities\nParticipate in the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance\nDevelop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain high-quality software primarily using Java and Spring Boot\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established engineering practices\nWork with experienced engineers and architects to understand technical designs and translate requirements into software features\nContribute to cloud-native services and RESTful APIs running on AWS\nBuild automated unit and integration tests to improve software quality and reliability\nParticipate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to continuously improve your engineering skills\nLearn and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and production support practices\nCollaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve software defects and production issues\nContribute ideas that improve engineering practices, developer productivity, and product quality\nUse modern AI-assisted development tools and practices, including code generation, automated reviews, and Spec-Driven Development, with appropriate engineering validation and oversight\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience\n0 to 2 years of software development experience, including internships, academic projects, open-source contributions, or professional experience\nGood understanding of Java and object-oriented programming concepts\nUnderstanding of fundamental data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles\nFamiliarity with Spring or Spring Boot, gained through coursework, projects, internships, or professional experience\nBasic understanding of RESTful APIs and web application development.\nFamiliarity with relational or NoSQL databases\nExperience using Git or another source-control system\nUnderstanding of software testing concepts, including unit and integration testing\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills\nAbility and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and work collaboratively in an engineering team\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the following areas is helpful but not required:\nExposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, including services such as S3, SQS, DynamoDB, Lambda, or IAM\nFamiliarity with microservices and cloud-native application development\nExposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform\nFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and tools\nExperience with shell scripting or Linux development environments\nExposure to application monitoring, observability, or production support\nFamiliarity with Docker or containerized applications\nExposure to streaming or distributed data technologies such as Apache Flink\nExperience using AI-assisted software development tools\nLearn More\nAbout Autodesk\nWelcome to Autodesk!
