The team builds integrations and platform capabilities that empower Customer Success teams to drive customer adoption, engagement, retention, and business outcomes at scale.\nIn this role, you will lead, hire, develop, and grow a team of talented engineers while remaining closely connected to the technology. You will provide technical direction, review designs, guide delivery, and develop proofs of concept when needed while collaborating closely with Architects, Product Managers, Program Managers, and cross-functional engineering teams.\nWe are looking for a hands-on, technology-forward engineering leader who embraces Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted development, modern engineering practices, and emerging technologies. You will combine people leadership, technical expertise, and strong execution to deliver meaningful customer and business impact.\nResponsibilities\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers across back-end, full-stack, and platform engineering domains\nFoster a high-performing engineering culture focused on collaboration, ownership, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning\nConduct regular performance reviews, career development discussions, coaching, and technical mentoring\nSupport hiring efforts, including technical interviews, onboarding, workforce planning, and team growth\nProvide technical guidance and architectural oversight for back-end services, full-stack applications, integrations, and distributed systems\nPartner with Principal Engineers and Architects to align system architecture with long-term platform strategy\nEnsure teams follow engineering best practices, including automated testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), observability, code reviews, and secure coding\nGuide teams in designing and building scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable systems\nPromote the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern developer productivity practices\nCollaborate with Product Management and business stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering roadmaps and execution plans\nDrive the delivery of high-quality software through Agile development practices and effective engineering execution\nEnsure reliable production systems by promoting operational excellence, monitoring, observability, and effective incident management\nIdentify and remove technical and organizational blockers to enable teams to deliver effectively\nEnable teams to build data-driven and AI-enabled capabilities using modern data platforms and Machine Learning (ML) technologies\nSupport the development of data pipelines, analytics platforms, and AI-powered workflows\nEncourage the effective use of AI-assisted tools across software development, testing, automation, and engineering workflows\nPartner with Data and Platform teams to deliver scalable data and AI infrastructure\nManage team priorities, dependencies, risks, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience\n10+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on development and production software delivery\n2-4 years of experience in engineering leadership, people management, or technical team leadership\nDemonstrated experience hiring, mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing engineering teams\nStrong hands-on experience with JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, or similar modern web development technologies\nExperience working with databases and designing data-driven applications\nExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and exposure to serverless architectures\nExperience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools such as Jenkins and Argo CD\nStrong understanding of software architecture, system design, code quality, design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices\nExperience collaborating with Architects, Product Managers, Program Managers, and cross-functional engineering teams\nDemonstrated ability to manage delivery, priorities, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations\nStrong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and execution skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing software engineering teams responsible for enterprise platforms, integrations, or distributed systems\nExperience building cloud-native applications and services on Amazon Web Services (AWS)\nExperience with Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted software development and modern engineering productivity tools\nExperience developing data platforms, data pipelines, analytics solutions, or AI-enabled applications\nExperience with observability, production operations, incident management, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices\nExperience managing teams in a global or cross-functional enterprise technology environment\nExperience leading technical transformation
