In this role, you will help build a modern, scalable search platform that powers search experiences across Autodesk's industry clouds – Fusion, Forma, and Flow.\n\nResponsibilities:\nContribute to the development and operation of highly scalable, distributed, data-intensive microservices.\nImplement technical solutions iteratively, from design and coding to testing and deployment, while following engineering best practices for resiliency, scalability, and security.\nAdopt industry best practices to write clean, maintainable code.\nPartner with Senior Engineers, Technical Leads, and Engineering Managers to design and implement technical solutions that drive business outcomes.\nCollaborate with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) for large-scale microservices through monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation and assist with the detection and resolution of production incidents.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.\n3–5 years of experience building and operating medium- to large-scale systems.\nStrong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and data management.\nExceptional proficiency in the Java programming language.\nExperience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).\nHands-on experience with database systems such as MySQL and DynamoDB.\nExperience building scalable systems and services in the cloud, including developing RESTful web services and integrating them with heterogeneous clients.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExposure to information retrieval technologies, with hands-on experience using Lucene, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch.\nExposure to vector databases and machine learning (ML) infrastructure.\nExperience monitoring and improving the reliability of complex systems at scale.\nAwareness of
