You will also contribute to the future of technical support by using emerging AI, automation, and connected Autodesk workflows across Moldflow, Fusion, and related technologies.\nResponsibilities\nProvide expert technical support for Autodesk Moldflow customers.\nDiagnose and resolve issues involving geometry, meshing, materials, process settings, solver behavior, and simulation results.\nHelp customers distinguish between software issues, modeling assumptions, and real-world molding or manufacturing challenges.\nResearch, reproduce, and document product issues and collaborate with Product Development and Engineering teams as needed.\nCreate clear technical articles, troubleshooting guidance, and reusable knowledge for customers and internal teams.\nUse AI-assisted tools to improve troubleshooting, research, and knowledge creation while validating technical accuracy with sound engineering judgment.\nDevelop expertise in connected Autodesk workflows, including Moldflow, Fusion, and related design and manufacturing technologies.\nMinimum Qualifications\n3-5+ years of experience with plastic injection-molding simulation, preferably Autodesk Moldflow, or equivalent injection-molding industry experience.\nBachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nStrong understanding of injection molding, polymer behavior, processing conditions, and manufacturing fundamentals.\nExperience preparing, running, troubleshooting, and interpreting engineering simulations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrated customer focus and ownership of technical problems through resolution.\nAbility to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-changing technical environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdvanced experience with Autodesk Moldflow Insight\nPractical experience in injection molding, mold design, tooling, process engineering, or plastics manufacturing.\nFamiliarity with Autodesk Fusion, Inventor, or other CAD/CAE platforms.\nExperience with CFD, FEA, thermal, or multiphysics simulation.\nExperience with Python, scripting, APIs, automation, or engineering productivity tools.\nExperience using AI-assisted tools for engineering, technical research, troubleshooting, or workflow automation.\nThe Ideal Candidate\nYou are a technically curious problem solver who enjoys helping others succeed. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $60,100 and $107,690. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
