About the Role

Reporting into the Manager, Dealer Implementations, the Implementations Configuration Specialist is responsible for the accurate, timely configuration and integration of AutoFi's products to support successful Dealer Partner launches, including new implementations and product expansions for existing partners. In this role, you will work closely with Dealer Onboarding Specialists, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors, translate Dealer Partner requirements into functional technical configurations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure assigned deliverables meet established quality standards and launch timelines.

Implementation Services is devoted to receiving and caring for net-new Dealer Partners as well as product upsells to existing Dealer Partners that originate through the Sales organization. They work with Dealers and their representatives to ensure that all aspects of their Program with AutoFi are appropriately configured for a successful launch, from basic configurations/feature enablement all the way through to complex integrations and related testing. They are subject matter experts with a deep understanding of how to use, speak to and configure AutoFi’s product suite to best meet our Dealer Partner’s requirements.

An ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent implementations with competing priorities. You will take ownership of your work from initial configuration through testing, launch readiness, and completion of required post-launch activities. As part of Implementation Services, you will develop deep expertise in AutoFi's product suite and integrations, helping ensure Dealer Partners are configured to successfully adopt and use our solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and contribute to a collaborative, accountable team environment with a culture of open communication through knowledge sharing, constructive feedback, and a willingness to support shared priorities.
  • Own the technical configuration and integration of AutoFi's products for assigned Dealer Partner implementations, ensuring requirements are accurately translated into functional, launch-ready solutions.
  • Manage a concurrent workload of approximately 13-20 implementations, effectively balancing competing priorities, dependencies, and deadlines to meet committed launch timelines.
  • Collaborate with Dealer Onboarding Specialists and internal stakeholders to establish achievable launch timelines, identify dependencies, and ensure assigned configuration and integration activities are completed on schedule.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for Dealer Partners, their representatives, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, provide configuration guidance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve implementation blockers.
  • Manage assigned technical implementation needs through resolution, maintaining accurate case documentation, clear stakeholder communication, and timely follow-up through phone, email and text, leveraging specific internal and vendor communications platforms where applicable.
  • Apply and validate product configurations and integrations using APIs, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologies to meet Dealer Partner requirements.
  • Independently review and test completed configurations and integrations for accuracy, completeness, and expected functionality before transitioning work to dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) resources for formal validation.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting of configuration and integration issues, identifying potential root causes, implementing appropriate corrections, and escalating more complex issues when necessary.
  • Partner with QA resources to investigate and resolve identified defects, ensuring outstanding issues are addressed and configurations meet established launch-readiness requirements.
  • Proactively communicate implementation progress, risks, delays, and capacity constraints, escalating concerns early and taking ownership of assigned deliverables through completion.
  • Complete required post-launch configuration adjustments, troubleshooting, documentation, and other follow-up activities accurately and within established timelines.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in AutoFi's product suite, integration capabilities, and Dealer Partner use cases, providing informed recommendations to optimize program configurations and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate implementation records, configuration specifications, and testing documentation while contributing to process improvements, repeatable best practices, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience working with SaaS platforms, technical configurations, system integrations, or related implementation activities.
  • 2-3 years of experience in client-facing implementations, technical onboarding, or SaaS support strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and Regex strongly preferred

Hands-on experience using API testing tools, such as Postman, to send requests, validate responses, and investigate integration issues.

  • Technical aptitude and comfort working with software configurations, system settings, integrated applications and AI Agents

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with demonstrated ability to review and validate work for accuracy, completeness, and expected functionality.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of concurrent assignments and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to contribute to realistic implementation timelines, identify risks and dependencies, and consistently deliver on commitments.
  • Strong ownership and accountability, with the ability to work independently, proactively communicate progress and challenges, and recognize when escalation or additional support is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to gather requirements, explain technical concepts, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and a high standard of work.
  • Experience working with third-party integrations, external vendors, or cross-functional implementation teams preferred.

Familiarity with automotive dealership operations, business models, and technology ecosystems is an asset, but not required.
