Join our Engineering team and play a key role in the design and development of Steering Wheel and Airbag systems for passenger vehicles, SUVs, and MUVs.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design and development of Steering Wheel and Airbag mechanisms.\n\nCreate and release 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5.\n\nPrepare and manage engineering deliverables including BOM, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up Analysis, and DVP.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Management, Purchasing, Quality, Testing, Manufacturing, and Suppliers.\n\nSupport prototype builds, product validation, and vehicle trials.\n\nConduct root cause analysis and problem-solving using structured methodologies such as 8D/G8D.\n\nInterface with customers and suppliers for technical discussions, trials, and issue resolution.\n\nRepresent engineering activities within global teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nTechnical Skills\nStrong experience in the design and development of automotive safety systems, particularly Steering Wheels, Airbags, or similar mechanisms.\n\nExpertise in sheet metal and plastic component design and development.\n\nHands-on experience with CATIA V5.\n\nKnowledge of PLM tools, preferably Enovia.\n\nExperience in DFMEA, GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up Analysis, DFM/DFA, and Design Reviews.\n\nUnderstanding of product testing, validation, and engineering change management.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.\n\n8-10 years of experience for Engineering Graduates.\n\n10-12 years of experience for Diploma holders.\n\nPrior experience in a Tier-1 automotive supplier environment is highly preferred.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nStrong ownership and accountability.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\nAnalytical problem-solving mindset.\n\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.\n\nProactive, agile, and customer-focused approach.\n\nPassion for innovation and continuous improvement.\n\nWe will be more than glad to chat with you about your experience and your career goals.\nIn our international work setting, you will find a range of opportunities that are designed to enhance your career and personal development.
