As we draw on our differences, what we’ve experienced, and how we work, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.\nRole Summary\nThe Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining specialist pharmaceutical equipment and facility installations to support our manufacturing and QC operations.\nThey will be primarily responsible for equipment breakdown repairs & on-going maintenance work of manufacturing equipment and associated utility systems.\nThey will plan and complete a range of reactive & planned maintenance works associated within the GMP facility & lab as well as order and maintain critical spares.\nThe role will be shift based.\nKey Responsibilities\nResponding to & diagnosing faults and repair of equipment breakdowns.\nRepairing & improving other equipment issues.\nEnsuring equipment is handed back to production in 100% safe condition.\nConducting risk assessment prior to any maintenance work.\nCompleting breakdown & repair reports.\nPlanning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.\nCreating maintenance procedures (Including writing SOPs).\nManaging contractors and their activities.\nProviding support to Facilities, Validation and Capital Project Engineering as required.\nManaging stocks of critical engineering spares and equipment.\nMaintaining an engineering workshop.\nProviding operator training as necessary.\nUsing manuals and failure history to develop preventative tasks.\nProvide SME support to other business functions.\nDeputising in other roles as required.\nDemonstrated skills and competencies\nE - Essential\nP - Preferred\nExperience\n3 years of working within a clean room and regulated environment. (P)\nWorking in a Pharmaceutical or other heavily regulated industry. (E)\nHVAC, compressed gases, and integrated control systems knowledge. (P)\nOperating within the requirements of a Quality Management system. (E)\nProject management experience. (P)\nEquipment validation lifecycle knowledge. (P)\nControl system (PLC) experience. (E)\nCMMS experience (E)\nExperience of managing and performing planned preventive maintenance. (E)\nExperience in GMP standard quality management systems (i.e. CAPAs, CCs & Deviations) (E)\nQualifications\nBachelor of Science - Relevant engineering degree or HNC/D with relevant experience.\nSkills/Specialist knowledge\nWorking with small/medium scale manufacturing and analytical equipment.\nPharmaceutical utility systems and controls.\nBMS and EMS.\nClean room operations.\nComputer literate - Microsoft Office suite.\nKnowledge and expertise in small scale pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. (P)\nKnowledge of current standards, procedures, and controls for GMP cleanroom facilities and equipment.
