And much more floor space.\nAutoStore - moving things forward.\nThe Role:\nAs an Electrical Engineer I you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of electrical systems that enable warehouse automation and customer operations. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will help deliver reliable hardware solutions, support product development activities, and gain hands-on experience with automated systems, controls, and electrical integration.\nThis role is ideal for an early-career engineer who is eager to learn, contribute to real-world engineering projects, and develop expertise in industrial automation and robotics technologies.\nKey Tasks and Responsibilities\nAssist in the design, development, and validation of electrical systems and components.\n\nCreate and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.\n\nSupport integration activities between electrical hardware, controls systems, and software platforms.\n\nParticipate in testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of electrical systems and products.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, manufacturing, and field engineering.\n\nSupport development efforts to improve product reliability, safety, and performance.\n\nAssist with prototype builds, laboratory testing, and product verification activities.\n\nFollow engineering processes, standards, and best practices while developing technical solutions.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities within the team.\n\nKey Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n\n0-2 years of engineering experience, including internships, co-op programs, academic projects, or professional experience.\n\nFundamental understanding of electrical engineering principles and circuit design.\n\nFamiliarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.\n\nBasic knowledge of power distribution, sensors, motors, actuators, and industrial control systems.\n\nFamiliarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.\n\nBasic understanding of engineering problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies.\n\nExposure to CAD or electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Altium, or similar software.\n\nStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.\n\nMust not require visa support to work in the USA\n\nWe Offer:\nAutoStore believes in taking care of employees and is dedicated to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
