And much more floor space.\nAutoStore - moving things forward.\nThe Role:\nThe Electronics and Embedded Systems Engineer is part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team that executes relevant designs related to vision, IoT, and related electronics and firmware products. This role is focused on building firmware integrations between hardware and software components. The Electronics and Embedded Systems Engineer will also be involved in hardware selection, compensating for environmental factors, and ensuring the system runs well in all iterations.\nKey Tasks and Responsibilities:\nPart of a multi-disciplinary group of engineers to develop innovative embedded solutions\nWork closely with Product Management to understand the customer needs and deliver solutions that meet those needs\nEvaluate technical feasibility of new ideas and guide engineering trade offs\nEvaluate potential solutions for compatibility with system requirements by working across teams and cultures\nConvert ideas, technologies, and insights from concepts into commercialized solutions that align to customer needs\nDevelop IP for AutoStore\nBuild relationships with tech partners\nKey Qualifications:\n1 - 5 years of experience in delivering embedded solutions for customers (areas of relevance robotics, IoT, electronics, embedded systems, advanced sensing, vision, AI & physical AI, etc)\nStrong proficiency with Git, Embedded C/C++ and Python\nExperience with developing firmware for resource constrained devices\nExperience writing unit tests\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\nFamiliar with design tools, processes and techniques to deliver solutions on schedule\nKnowledge of Embedded Linux based designs\nExperience with Agile development methodologies\nExperience with using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.\nAbility to develop solutions from concept to launch creating detailed designs\nAbility to partner with other experts internally to deliver a complete solution\nExcellent communication skills across organizational levels \nFamiliar with Project Management concepts\nBachelor’s or Masters' degree in Electronics, Cybernetics/Robotics, Embedded Systems, or a related field\nWe Offer:\nAutoStore believes in taking care of employees and is dedicated to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
