The Data Analyst is responsible for interpreting and analyzing data from complex sources like ERP, HCM, and CRM to support data-driven decision making and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and usability of information within the organization’s Data Lakehouse. This hands-on role focuses on requirements translation, source-to-target mapping, dimensional modeling support, ELT/ETL validation, testing support and data quality. Working closely with Business teams, Data Architects, and Engineers, the Data Analyst transforms business processes into well-structured, secure, and reliable data models and pipelines, enabling the Data Lakehouse to serve as a trusted foundation for analytics, reporting and AI products.\nResponsibilities\nWork closely with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and clarify data and reporting requirements.\nTranslate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirement documents.\nDevelop comprehensive Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM/STM) documents capturing field-level data logic.\nCreate detailed Business Rules, Data Definitions, and Data Transformation documentation.\n Perform complete data lineage analysis across Snowflake, APIs, upstream sources, and reporting layers.\nAssist in data modeling and design aligned with Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layer separation).\nConduct data profiling, validation, and reconciliation using Snowflake SQL.\nWork with REST API data integrations, including reading API specifications, understanding payloads, and mapping to Snowflake tables.\nCollaborate with data engineers, ETL/ELT developers, and QA to ensure accurate interpretation of the requirements.\nSupport UAT and resolve data-related gaps through iterative testing and validation.\nSkills and Experience\nSkills\nEnglish level B2+\n Proven experience with programming languages such as SQL and Python for data validation, profiling, reconciliation, and analytics.\nStrong hands-on Snowflake experience is required, including:\no Ability to construct & optimize complex SQL queries\no Variant/JSON parsing\no Schema and stage understanding\no Performance analysis & troubleshooting\nWorking experience in Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold data layers) including mapping data flows across layers.\n Proven experience with API-based data ingestion (REST APIs, JSON/XML).\n Ability to interpret API documentation and create field mappings for Snowflake ingestion.\n Experience building Source-to-Target mapping documents and transformation rules.\nStrong understanding of data lineage, metadata traceability, and impact analysis.\n Experience writing BRDs, FRDs, mapping documents, and business rule specifications.\n Effective communication skills with ability to work directly with business stakeholders.\n Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEducation / Professional Experience/ Qualifications\nBachelor of Science (BS) in computer science or information systems (or equivalent work experience).\n 1 -
