This role combines hands-on senior engineering work with team leadership, ensuring the network environment is stable, secure, and performing to SLA, while mentoring Senior and Junior Network Engineers and coordinating closely with the Network Architect on design and standards.\nResponsibilities\nLead the day-to-day work of the network engineering team, assigning and prioritizing tickets, changes, and projects across Network Engineer Sr. and Jr. staff.\nProvide hands-on senior-level engineering support for complex routing, switching, and firewall issues that require escalation beyond Tier 2/3.\nOwn network change management for the account, including planning, risk assessment, peer review, and execution of scheduled changes in line with ITIL change management practices.\nPartner with the Network Architect to implement network designs, standards, and lifecycle/refresh plans across the multi-country site footprint.\nOversee firewall administration and security policy management across the environment's firewall estate, ensuring configurations follow security best practices.\nCoordinate wireless network support and troubleshooting, working with Senior Network Engineers who carry explicit wireless expertise (Cisco and Cambium environments).\nSupport voice/network integration activities, including coordination with the Voice Engineer team on CUCM decommission and related transition work.\nMonitor network capacity and performance trends, recommending headroom or upgrade actions in coordination with the Consolidated Volume & Headroom model.\nServe as an escalation point for major network incidents, driving root cause analysis and remediation.\nMentor and develop Network Engineer Sr. and Jr. staff, including onboarding to the client environment and ongoing technical skill-building.\nMaintain accurate network documentation, including topology diagrams, IP addressing schemes, and configuration standards.\nEnsure compliance with client and Auxis security policies across the managed network estate.\nSkills and Experience\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity.\nStrong expertise in enterprise routing and switching (Cisco preferred) across multi-site WAN/LAN environments.\nHands-on experience administering enterprise firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar).\nSolid understanding of ITIL change and incident management processes.\nExperience supporting multi-country or multi-region network environments.\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills for complex, multi-layer network issues.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCCNP or equivalent professional-level networking certification.\nExperience with wireless networking platforms (Cisco, Cambium, or similar).\nExperience supporting voice/UC platforms (Cisco Call Manager/CUCM, Teams Calling) or coordinating with voice engineering teams.\nExperience in a managed services or outsourced IT delivery environment supporting enterprise clients.\nBilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese is a plus.\nITIL Foundation certification.\nTechnical Skills & Tools\nCisco routing and switching (IOS/IOS-XE);
