In this role, you will be responsible for solutioning, automating, resolving escalated service issues, mentoring junior engineers, engineering and implementing complex changes, and overseeing efficient operations management.\nResponsibilities\nProvide L3 troubleshooting for escalated support issues related to data center and server operations.\nDesign and define operating runbooks to maintain network performance and reliability.\nCoach and support other engineers to resolve issues efficiently.\nPerform a root cause analysis to maintain the quality and efficiency standards.\nAssist in delivering new client migrations and complex projects.\nLead the implementation and maintenance of cloud and on-premises network solutions.\nOffer recommendations to enhance client network environments and technologies.\nSupport the sales team in solutioning opportunities through customer meetings and executive presentations.\nManage complex technical problems and ensure compliance with Auxis operating processes.\nProvide monthly analytics reports on team performance and capacity.\nOversee the execution of technical training programs for the team.\nMaintain awareness of current and emerging technologies relevant to networking and related operations.\nMake recommendations for performance improvements and automation to enhance operations.\nSkills and Experience\nEXPERIENCE\n6+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, or a related field.\n\nProven experience working with large and complex server-based and cloud environments.\n\nHands-on experience with cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure and AWS.\n\nWillingness and availability to participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.\n\nEDUCATION\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\nStrong knowledge of network security methods and configuration requirements for network devices.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of cloud networking environments and technologies.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware, and VPN technologies, including L2L, Remote Access, AnyConnect, or similar solutions.\n\nExperience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless controllers.\n\nStrong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, application transport, and client-server environments.\n\nStrong knowledge of data communications technologies, network architectures, platforms, protocols, diagnostic tools, and monitoring technologies.\n\nExperience working with network monitoring and troubleshooting protocols and tools, including ICMP, SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of networking, security, and wireless protocols.\n\nUnderstanding of network infrastructure design, hardware, and connectivity.\n\nAbility to create and maintain network diagrams.\n\nExperience designing and implementing medium- to large-scale network environments.\n\nKnowledge of ITIL practices and service management principles.\n\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\n\nREQUIRED TECHNICAL CERTIFICATIONS\nCCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent certification.\n\nCompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification.\n\nAzure Network Engineer or AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty certification.\n\nITIL 4 Foundation certification.\n\nLinux Essentials certification.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nEnglish proficiency at B2+ level or higher.\n\nAbout Auxis\nAuxis prioritizes employee growth and development to help you advance your career.
