DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic DevOps Engineer to scale our DevOps and infrastructure engineering efforts. This role will be critical in shaping our DevOps culture, modernizing our infrastructure, and ensuring our systems are scalable, secure, and highly available. You will be responsible for CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, automation, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the overall DevOps and infrastructure strategy in alignment with engineering and business goals.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent, safe, and automated deployments.
• Champion Infrastructure as Code and modern automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, etc. ).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, QA, security, and IT teams.
• Establish and track DevOps performance metrics (e. g., DORA metrics: deployment frequency, MTTR).
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance are embedded into the DevOps processes (DevSecOps).
• Own incident response processes, including on-call, root cause analysis, and postmortems.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related engineering roles.
• Expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. ).
• Strong background in monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, etc. ).
• Proven ability to lead complex incident response and disaster recovery efforts.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in platform engineering or SRE principles.
• Programming/scripting experience (Python, Bash, Go, etc. ).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
