About the role We are looking for a Microsoft Azure Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud applications and integrations on Microsoft Azure. You will develop APIs, background services, and event-driven workflows, and work with product, architecture, security, and platform teams to deliver and operate them in production. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and test cloud applications, REST APIs, and integrations using services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Management. Translate business requirements into technical designs and contribute to architecture decisions, effort estimates, and code reviews. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and automate Azure resource provisioning using Bicep or Terraform. Implement secure authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID and managed identities. Use Azure Key Vault to manage secrets and certificates. Instrument applications with logs, metrics, and traces using Azure Monitor and Application Insights. Diagnose production issues and implement fixes that address their root causes.
