Guided by our values-Customer-Centricity, Collaboration, Agility, Innovation, Integrity, and Diversity & Inclusion-we empower businesses to embrace the full potential of a cloud-first approach.\nAbout the Role:\nAs a Data Scientist at Avahi, you’llwork very closely with a senior member of our research team on cutting-edgeApplied AI, infrastructure, and tooling towards the goal of democratizing Generative AI for everyone.\nExample projects:\nBuild a RAG pipeline on top of internal documents.\nCreate a python library on top of AWS services to enable GenAIfor large enterprises.\nOpen sourceinternal tools.\nImplement neural network architecture from newly published papers.\nWork on tools which work with fine-tuned models, vector databases, embeddings etc.\nDevelop more realistic simulations for training our agents.\nDesign automated methods and tools to prevent common issues with neural network training (e.g.overfitting, vanishing gradients, dead ReLUs, etc).\nCreate visualizations to help us deeply understand what our networks learn and why.\nQualifications:\nVery comfortablewriting Python.\nStrong data structures, algorithms, and engineering mathematics background.\nFamiliar with PyTorchand training deep neural networks is preferred but not mandatory\nExcited to work on open-source code.\nPassionate about engineering best practices.\nSelf-directed and independent.\nStrong English language skills are a must.\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field\nWhy Work Here\nRemote-First Flexibility:\nEnjoy work-life harmony in a remote-first environment that allows you to work from anywhere.\nInnovative Culture:\nWe embrace a startup mindset, encouraging creativity, agility, and growth.
