You will design user-centered, visually compelling experiences that improve the usability and effectiveness of Availity’s products while supporting business goals. If portfolio is password protected, please include in your application.\n\nWhy you want to work on this team:\nYou will be a vital member helping to shape the future of user experience here at Availity.\nWe are growing as a design team and are looking for enthusiastic team members that want to be part of an exciting design movement.\n\nTo be qualified for this role, you have: \nBachelor’s degree in User Experience (UX) Design, Interaction Design, Web Design, Graphic Design, New Media, Interactive Digital Media or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent work experience.\nOver two years of experience designing digital products, with demonstrated strength in visual design and UX processes.\nA strong portfolio showcasing high-quality visual design and UX thinking. We are especially interested in seeing high-fidelity design work, visual exploration, and concept work.\nStrong familiarity with Figma.\nThorough question asking and note taking skills.\nAdaptability to pivot in a quickly changing environment.\nUser empathy and natural curiosity.\nLearning agility. You have the ability to quickly grasp new situations, synthesize large amounts of information quickly, and find answers\nStrong familiarity with accessibility/508 Compliance\nExperience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across disciplines.\nExperience engaging directly with users to gather insights, validate concepts, and test designs or hypotheses throughout the design process.\nSelf-motivation and ability to work with little supervision, prioritizing work from multiple sources.\nExperience with behavioral analytics (such as Google Analytics or Pendo) is a plus.\nExperience writing, recruiting, and conducting usability studies, analyzing and synthesizing results to present to stakeholders is a plus.\nExperience within the healthcare technology space is a plus.\n\nWhat you will be doing:\nArticulating design goals and outcomes with various stakeholders to build a shared vision.\nFostering relationships and collaborating closely with UX, research, product, and engineering teams.\nWeaving together experiences built on multiple platforms to tell a consistent brand story that unfolds across touchpoints.\nDesigning exciting, innovative experiences.\nBuilding deeper understanding of our products and services.\nArticulating an experience vision that delivers value in the near-term while continuously evolving in the long term.\nProducing user flows, and wireframes to communicate a specific design vision & strategy based on research findings.\nAdvocating for accessibility, encouraging product and engineering management to prioritize accessible features.\n\nAvaility culture and benefits:\nAvaility is a certified \"Great Place to Work\"!
