This role partners closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, and other teams to ensure product programs progress efficiently from planning through launch. The Program Manager brings structure and visibility to complex initiatives, manages timelines and dependencies, identifies risks and blockers, and facilitates effective communication across teams. This role is an individual contributor position that requires strong collaboration, organization, problem-solving, and the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.\nThe ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced product environment, managing multiple priorities, and bringing clarity to ambiguous or complex problems.\nTo be qualified for the role, you have:\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Product Management, Operations, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n3-5 years of experience in program management, project management, product operations, product management, or a related field.\nExperience working in a technology, software, or other product-driven environment.\nExperience working in a regulated industry such as healthcare or financial services. Healthcare background is highly preferred.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.\nAbility to influence and coordinate stakeholders without direct authority.\nProficiency with common project management, collaboration, and productivity tools.\nPreferred\nExperience working directly with Product and Engineering teams.\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum product development methodologies.\nExperience supporting software or digital product launches.\nExperience with product roadmap planning and prioritization processes.\nFamiliarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.\nCore Competencies\nExecution: Consistently drives assigned initiatives forward and delivers against commitments.\nOrganization: Creates structure, maintains accurate documentation, and effectively manages competing priorities.\nCollaboration: Builds productive relationships across Product and partner functions.\nCommunication: Clearly communicates status, risks, decisions, and next steps.\nProblem Solving: Identifies issues and develops practical solutions.\nInfluence: Gains alignment and drives accountability without formal authority.\nAdaptability: Effectively navigates changing priorities and ambiguity.\nProduct Orientation: Understands the connection between customer needs, product priorities, technology, and business outcomes.\n\nWhat you will be doing:\nProgram Management\nManage the day-to-day execution of assigned product programs and initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain program plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.\nCoordinate activities across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, and other stakeholder teams.\nTrack progress against commitments and proactively identify potential delays or issues.\nMaintain clear documentation and visibility into program status.\nEnsure action items, decisions, and follow-ups are clearly documented and completed.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Product Managers and functional leads to coordinate execution of product initiatives.\nFacilitate working sessions, planning meetings, status meetings, and project reviews.\nBuild alignment across teams with shared goals and interdependent deliverables.\nFollow up on commitments and help teams resolve execution issues.\nServe as a central point of coordination for assigned programs.\nProduct Development & Launch\nSupport product initiatives across discovery, planning, development, testing, launch, and post-launch activities.\nCoordinate launch readiness activities across relevant Product and business teams.\nTrack key launch dependencies and ensure outstanding items are identified and addressed.\nSupport development of launch plans, timelines, communications, and readiness checklists.\nHelp coordinate post-launch activities and follow-up actions.\nRisk & Dependency Management\nIdentify risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints that may affect program delivery.\nWork with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans and resolve blockers.\nEscalate significant issues when additional support or decision-making is required.\nMaintain program-level risk and dependency tracking.\nProvide timely visibility into changes that may impact scope, schedule, or deliverables.\nProduct Planning & Operations\nSupport quarterly and annual product planning activities.\nHelp maintain visibility into roadmap initiatives, milestones, dependencies, and priorities.\nSupport Product leadership and Product Managers with planning materials, reporting, and operational processes.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards, status reports, and other program-management artifacts.\nIdentify opportunities to improve product planning and execution processes.\nContribute to the development and adoption of consistent Product operating practices.\nCommunication & Reporting\nProvide clear and concise program updates to Product and cross-functional stakeholders.\nPrepare status reports, presentations, dashboards, and other program communications.\nCommunicate changes to timelines, scope, risks, and dependencies in a timely manner.\nEnsure stakeholders understand decisions, responsibilities, and next steps.\nAvaility culture and benefits:\nAvaility is a certified \"Great Place to Work\"!
