You will apply industry best practices to develop clear work instructions and ensure repeatability, efficiency, and high product quality on every build. This role creates and maintains manufacturing and quality procedures that meet diverse customer and regulatory requirements across aerospace, defense, space, and medical device programs, while providing leadership and engineering support to manufacturing operations.\n\nLocation & Eligibility\n\nThis position is based in Van Nuys, CA and will move to Chatsworth, CA in Fall 2026. Position is fully on-site. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nProcess Ownership\n\nCreate and maintain manufacturing and quality processes for critical applications in demanding environments, including Manufacturing Process Instructions and Quality System Instructions\n\nDevelop and maintain simple, visual standardized work instructions, operating procedures, and training materials for manufacturing personnel in compliance with company best practices and ISO 13485 / AS9100 standards\n\nImplement and monitor equipment performance, including reviewing and validating IQ reports for new equipment to determine the most suitable options for specific production\n\nSource fixtures, tooling, and equipment required for manufacturing operations; establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality\n\nConduct training sessions so employees are proficient in executing their roles effectively, and keep training certificates up to date\n\nPrepare accurate, well-organized reports on all required forms and records\n\nEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards applicable to manufacturing operations; implement measures to mitigate risk and promote a safe working environment for all employees\n\nContinuous Improvement & Collaboration\n\nLead data analysis and initiatives that drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, including Lean manufacturing principles, 5S, Six Sigma methodologies, and other best practices\n\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve operational excellence\n\nWork closely with product development and other cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition of new products from design to manufacturing\n\nProvide input on design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT), developing production processes that meet project timelines and objectives\n\nSTANDARDS & COMPLIANCE FRAMEWORKS\n\nAS9100 · ISO 13485 · IPC-A-610 · J-STD-001 (incl.
