The role ensures that software releases meet agreed quality standards and are delivered in a predictable, controlled and efficient manner.\nThe Senior Test Manager acts as the primary quality lead within a program or portfolio of projects and works closely with Delivery Leads, Business Stakeholders, Development Teams, Release Management and Clients to ensure successful test execution and release readiness.\nThis is a hands-on delivery role requiring proactive leadership, strong ownership and active management of risks, defects, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.\nDefine and own the overall test strategy, test planning, and resource management across projects and releases\nLead and coordinate SIT, End-to-End Testing, and support UAT execution\nEnsure adequate test coverage for functional and non-functional requirements\nManage test execution, delivery timelines, and testing commitments\nDrive defect management, prioritisation, resolution, and risk escalation\nGovern quality gates, release readiness assessments, and go-live recommendations\nProvide transparent reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, defects, and delivery risks\nAct as the central point of contact for all testing and quality-related matters across Business, Development, Architecture, Operations, and Release Management\nDrive test automation, CI/CD-aligned quality practices, and continuous improvement initiatives\nLead, coach, and develop Test Leads, Test Engineers, and external testing resources while fostering a culture of accountability and quality excellence\n Education\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Banking Technology or related field\nISTQB Advanced Level, Agile Testing or equivalent certification preferred\nProfessional Experience\n5-10 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance or Delivery Management\nProven delivery experience within Core Banking, Wealth Management or Financial Services\nExperience leading complex SIT, UAT and End-to-End testing programs\nStrong understanding of software delivery lifecycles in regulated environments\nExperience managing distributed and international teams\nStrong ownership and accountability mindset\nDelivery-oriented and execution-focused\nExcellent stakeholder management skills\nProactive risk
